The development of cities supported by communication and information technologies

This research aims to analyze the relationship between economic, social and digital performance in cities of different sizes Brazil. Data provided by following official agencies: National Treasury Secretariat, Mayors' Front Risk Classification Agency were used. Pearson's correlation was used identify influence digital, social, economic variables divided into groups based on number inhabitants. There a strong Communication Information Technologies aspects. The greater needs cities, more intense is use Technologies, reinforcing establishment perspective smart cities.
